Carousel

Carousel is an exercise in precision and the relationships of varying widths of carefully chosen colors. the effect being one of movement as you can almost feel the spinning motions of a carnival ride.

This piece was most likely born out of the exercises advanced art students create in the color science university curriculum. You can see how artists like Louis Vuitton and Robert Morris and Morris Louis were also moved by similar experiences.
