Be Mine, is an emotive collage referencing greeting cards, and Matisse like paper cuts. The heart with arrow is torn from Chartpac paper and is presented in a Chagall blue, evoking a sense of longing as compared to the traditional red heart. The lower right mosaic like design is reminiscent of Matise in its design and application.
